ONLINE COURSES
Museums as Spaces for Wellbeing
This course will help you develop and evaluate health and wellbeing outcomes in museums, heritage or cultural organisations.
This self-paced course aims to:
- Define health and wellbeing provision within a cultural organisation
- Show how this fits new thinking within the health sector
- Use best practices to inspire new work and ensure provision is sustainable and suitable for your organisation and community
- Demonstrate how evaluation can be utilised successfully to pilot and improve provision
- Establish how health and wellbeing can be embedded at organisational level
- Provide practical step-by-step advice on how to get started or re-frame existing provision
Throughout the course you will be encouraged to reflect on what you have learnt and how this can be applied.
The course was created by The National Alliance for Museums, Health and Wellbeing.
The National Alliance for Museums, Health and Wellbeing and the National Alliance for Arts, Health and Wellbeing merged in April 2018 to become the Culture, Health and Wellbeing Alliance (CHWA).
